In Malta there is this cieling in terms of where they can get to, and once that pinnacle is achieved there is nothing else but to go abroad, but in the markets where they can gain more influence and money e.g. the UK market, they end up coming from being hailed as stars to being seen as nothing I guess development is cool, but to what end? Also with Malta, the accent tends to be a barrier in the most important music markets in the world and I have also heard that singers from Malta are at times not taken seriously in the wider industry I don't know why yet though any thoughts?
